My 2 cents on the Autechre list-dis: John Balance and Drew McDowall (?) from Coil pop their head in on occasion and seem like any other music fan trying to get info on releases. Robin Rimbaud also used to post occasionally on the ambient list and was pretty docile about the whole thing. Difference between these artists and Autechre being that their releases aren't talked about as frequently or scrutinized so anally. I guess Sean and Rob's tastes are maybe more experimental than gets discussed frequently on this list so why read endless talk about your own stuff if you're not getting any music tips out of it? Don't blame 'em. GD
