Just need to plug this cdr i just received from Monotonic (http://www.mono211.com/monotonik). If you haven't already looked into Lackluster, do yourself a favor. Imagine Autechre's more melodic side, Solenoid's fluctuating beats and Solvent's bubbly basslines and you have an idea of the sounds emanated from this disc. Smooth electronic idm/techno with beautifully crafted melodies rounding off the edges. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this release. Considering that i also picked up the Ischemic Folks 2x12", i'd say this one tops it, seriously. Stay tuned for a full review of this release in Grooves issue #3, and a possible appearance on an upcoming Kracfive project...
