It's about as annyoing as > guitar solos in techno. > I dunno...i got slagged for liking the Roni Size show already. Here's my own personal experience. A couple years ago, i decided that being narrow minded and "purist" about music was not the way to go. Had i not had this sudden insight, i would never have found enjoyment in electronic music, since I used to be a "guitar junky". More and more, i find stuff that i like that i would never have liked a year or two ago, and some of it is commercial(thus, i get slagged by the purists and undergroundists) and even more of it is "underground"(i get slagged by the people who always say "what the hell is this? sounds like noise/crap/random beats/my grandmother farting/etc..."). All i can say is this: open your mind...enjoy the music for what it is, not for what you think it might represent, be it commercialism, anti-commercialism, or just some clique or scene. You'll get FAR more enjoyment out of music that way...i know i have much more material to choose from now! P.S. this wasn't a flame...only my own musical opinion.
