Just had the pleasure of checking out idm lister Nate Harrison's CD, "Nanofunk EP" CD maxi, self released, maxi CD....you know the kind in the skinny jewel case. For a home-made job ( assuming this as there's no bar code ) it's great! Actually, don't get me wrong, it's quite good for *any* release. Music is an idmers healthy fix...post AI/Autechre/Aphex digital pleasure. However, it moves beyond its's influences ( thank god ) and even has a bit of beatbox industrial vibe to it ( that's a compliment). It's a 5 song, 30 + min EP, with each song about the same length. A slight bit of crunchy d+b to it, but mainly machine like, grind idm...not harsh but *strong*. Somewhat danceable here and there. Killer packaging and design and sound geeks will definitely appreciate the superior sound quality and mastering...great job, Nate! and gosh, he even thanks idm in the thank you section ( now *that's* a bit much for my taste ) : } Peter
