Some more infos on the first two Plug Reasearch split 10"s...

-------------------------------------------------

Plug Research Split 10=94 #1=85

Artist: Mr. Hazeltine, Divine Styler, Mr. Moto
Title: Split 10=94 #1
Cat#: PR200001

Track Listing:
A1. The Pressure
(By Mr Hazeltine featuring Divine Styler)
B1. Making Sense of Yesterday
(By Mr Hazeltine and Mr Moto)

On the 1997 Plug Research release The Art of Travel, by Mannequin Lung, a=
very interesting remix closed the album. The track, City Lights, was=
redesigned by the masterful Mr. Hazeltine, otherwise known as John Tejada,=
and the vocal was delivered by the legendary Divine Styler, late of Ice T=
=92s Rhyme Syndicate, and the author of several albums under his own name.=
This popular team is reunited here, and Mr. Styler adds his unique vocal=
seasonings in the manner which has earned him international acclaim. The=
track itself might be characterized as reminiscent of retro Chicago House.

The other side of this release also features Mr. Hazeltine (Tejada), this=
time in collaboration with Mr. Moto, a jazz guitarist with whom he has been=
working on a post-rock project for upcoming independent release.

Plug Research Split 10=94 #2=85

Artist: Move D/Sutekh
Title: Split 10=94 #2
Cat#: PR200001

Track Listing:
A1. (Mu) st
      (By Move D)
B1. Present
      (By Sutekh)

Sutekh is definitely a rising star among rising stars, emerging from a group=
of young, red-hot San Francisco producers with a hot-selling album (Periods=
Make Sense) on the Mille Plateaux label, following several years of=
independent releases on his own imprints. On this release he delivers a=
=91jack track=92 titled =91Present.=92 A must for the record case.

Move D (David Moufang) proprietor of the legendary Source label, member of=
Deep Space Network, and perhaps the prime exponent of new-school Detroit=
techno sounds on the mellow, repetitive tip, brings us a track in his=
signature style titled =91(Mu)st.=92 We think this track reflects David=92s=
involvement in such projects as =91Cojoint,=92 a jazzy electro-accoustic=
quartet with Jamie Hodge and others who have two albums in release on the=
 Source label.

This split 10=94 can be enjoyed at home or employed in a club setting, and=
will serve as a mood enhancer for all those early or late-night boogie=
 sessions.

-------------------------------------------------

This looks to be a promising series of releases for Plug Research.
