at least someone got the point of my message, most people just replied
saying "yeah that new music sucks", i had thought that the second part of
the message enforced the idea that the first part was SARCASTIC, but i'm no
literary scholar, nonetheless to reiterate, all music inevitably goes
through evolution, its happening now in "hip-hop"(on a side note: which is
evolving strangely towards electronic music, take some of the vocals out of
some of these songs and there straight warp/ae ripoffs, but i digress)
the music changes over time, and its tradition for the "old schoolers" to
get angry and complain. Im not saying this new idm is not bad(god knows i
havent heard it), but with a degree in philosophy i feel compelled to step
in and argue the principles/logic of this whole thing. Another funny little
hipocrisy is the complaining about the new schema/ci stuff being bad and
then the striking realization that this new music is actually old stuff just
finally getting released, so once again let me get this straight, you love
the old schema/ci, but you dont like when they issue more of the old stuff?
but yet when ae/plaid actually do some innovation on there style its bad as
well?
*the soap opera that is IDM*

dj.merck(i should probably just go to sleep and let you all have your

ahhh yes, another decent reply just in from Moonlight
"You change, people want Incunabula part 8
You stay the same, people say you're stale."

nicely put.
