I have to stick by my original statement here. I have no problem with the lo-fi but I think in this instance, its a cover for lack of ideas. This disc just sounds *too* simple and lazy to my ears. Thats just my opinion, though. > > I HIGHLY disagree. Think Fever is the best thing to hit DHR in a while. > DHR became quite stale, and it is about time they put out something that > avoided the stale cliche beats that they've been releasing. Lo-fi indeed, > but not necessarily "amateurish". Reminds me of the latest ICE release. > Dirty production, hip hop beats, odd timed rhymes ala Sensational. > Plus samples of Muttly (I think that is the name, the dog from the old > funny cartoon racing show!). > >>> anyone else heard fever's CD on DHR? I can't decide whether to laugh or >>> cry; i might even like it, i don't know. white germans rapping is just >>> so...multiculti. > > Damn those Germans for trying to rap. It is so American. While we're at > it, lets condem Jupiter JAM, Roots Maneuva, Toastie Taylor, Twigy, Rhino, > and the rest of the non-US rap "artists". And white at that. Geez, what > were they thinking?! Somebody better tell Company Flow and Audio Sports > members to shut up and leave the rapping to Puff Daddy. > <Note:Sarcasm...thought the "white germans rapping..." statement was one of > the dumbest things I've read in ages.> > > > --- > Peace Hugs and Unity Jason J.
