I bought a new discman because neither my stereo or my old discman read CD-r's. I took a CD-r in to the store and they let me try it right there on thier little speakers, you should have seen them looking at me when I played it.(it was the forthcoming lexaunculpt on music au strom, no I won't copy it for you). And as for quality, I've had the most luck with the silver and blue ones and the most problems with the semi-transparent gold one's with the barely visible greenish emulsion on the bottom. Of course, it's this kind of problem that makes me weary of charging for CD-r's in the first place. Loraine was originally concieved as a fund drive premium for KUCI where we'd simply burn as many CD-r's as people pledged. But when we priced out duplication (I didn't have a CD-r Drive then), it was almost as much as a run of 500 real CD's, hence the limited edition to 500 copies. The whole 2CD thing came about as I hard a hard time eliminating tracks so we just doubled the size of the comp. -Daniel xxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx ============================================================================== Peach Space Disco For Fish Tacos PO Box 1902 8-10pm Wednesdays, KUCI 88.9fm Huntington Beach, CA 92647 www.peachfuzz.net/space www.peachfuzz.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sterile: Orange County's Intelligent Electronic Monthly www.peachfuzz.net/sterile ============================================================================== "A lot of people just talk out of their ass, I happen to fall under that category" -Dana Watanabe
