DJ Spooky can go on for pages and pages saying nothing. His "essays" are nuggets of pseudo-intellectual wank. Here is a man blissfully unaware of the fact that all those words by themselves don't mean a thing if there isn't a good guiding idea behind them. He reads like a guy who likes to listen to himself speak, and doesn't say anything that I haven't read summarized in a few short paragraphs in Wire magazine (which, incidentally, is getting wankier and wankier these days... Thesaurus sale in London, perhaps?). -p.
