Advice givers, thanks in advance:

As this has'nt been mentioned *too* much I thought I'd throw it out.

I'm soon buying a CD Burner. I'd like some buying advice.
It must be external Mac ( pre PowerMac ) running System 8.0, SCSI ( duh...)

I've had concerns over a thread of last week re: recording long passages
without having indexing problems. As I will be doing a *lot* of these, I
need a machine to pull it off. I have been informed that this concern is
known as "orange book". I've been told that it is the mastering software,
and not the
hardware that specifies how the disk will be recorded-one long
track, several tracks with no space in between, etc.

Thanks much, I do appreciate it.

Though I am a bit scared to be alongside the "me, too" column as NME,
Melody Maker, et al I have to say, few new release this year have
impressed me on one listen as this. A longer review should follow. This
is a *vast* , powerful album. I'm sure the mail lists will be extremely
polar on this one....; )
