Too late, it's already been done - kind of! I picked up London
Elektricity's new 12" "Song In The Key Of Knife" on Hospital recordings
yesterday (an absolutely brilliant piece of epic live drum and bass,
BTW) and while it doesn't rip-off low-rider totally, it does use the
main riff, not sampled but replayed and slightly different. Either way
this record is a classic - reminds me of Miles Davis' In A Silent Way, 4
Hero's string infused drum and bass, and so much other stuff rolled into
one - all without being cliched.
