Could someone please give me a rundown, privately, of still-acquirable John Cage books? Saw a listing at a bookstore today, but don't know where to start. also, besides Edward Strickland's 'Minimalism' (thanks for the tip hrvatski), are there any other books dealing with Minimalism, more in a modern context, preferably with the whole music / art / design slant? for anyone interested, in the current issue of Frieze, Simon Reynolds and Kodwo Eshun have a little talk about their philosophies and writing. there's also some crazy Japanese arcade games, based on Dj'ing, with steel turntables and 5 smapler buttons in place of the usual joystick, kick, jump buttons. peace- ./ chris. p.o. box 771688 coral springs, fl 33077-1688
