(idm) Not exactly IDM, but interesting.

I recently picked up Society Suckers' "Anti-Carnivore EP" (kool.POP
recordings, POP12.001) and thought I might suggest it to the list. It's
not IDM by any stretch of the imagination, but I think the IDMers who like
squarepusher/muziq/aphex fuct-up jungle might be interested. It has that
same 'Where the hell are these drums going?' mentality to the programming.
The breaks are beyond fast and beyond chopped, and really distorted. It's
very lo-fi, chaotic, and complicated, which makes a good combination. So,
if you're looking for the breakcore version of Rehplex, this is in that
ballpark.
Plus, the last song is some 30 second thing of them playing guitars and
shouting talentlessly. All records should have a bonus old skool punk
song. Even Boards of Canada.*

(Listening to HC should probably reduce my chances of making any friends on
*this* list to about zero, but oh well. :P)

*I can see it now: BoC vs. Black Flag -- the remix album.
