yes, i'd definately say that skinny puppy is worth investigating.  while
my contact w/ them has been pretty limited, i can whole-heartedly
recommend last rights and too dark park.  the only caveat is ogre's
voice - if you really cannot deal w/ vocals you might not be able to
tolerate these cds.  the little exposure i have to spuppy's older stuff
(vivisect vi) has not impressed me as much.  which brings up a question
from me - if i like tdp & last rights, what other skinny puppy do i
need?

oh yeah, if you don't have the sidewinder ep from download get it now.
lots of great music, in an eyes of stanley pain fashion.  in fact all
download is worth hearing, imho.

ps - i finally bought lesser's welcome to the american experience, and i
like it a bunch, except where they seem to fall on a d'n'b crutch for
energy and movement (track1).  the noisier & less structured stuff (esp
track2) make me weepy w/ joy...
