I'm catching up on things, including this. So far, "Negative Evolution" is the one that really got me. I'm not finding these easy tracks to like, but neither do they simply slide away. Like a lot of the better stuff around now, the rewarding elements here are not really at the surface but come out on repeated playing or in different sonic environments. I found this to be true with 'Hoodlum' and to some degree with Richie's recent work (most of which I did not like at *all* on first listening). phred
