I don't see what all the bother here is about. After all, the article classifies the Chemical Brothers as "big beat," so isn't that progress? Frankly, the article is maybe a little above average for city newspaper coverage of electronic music. As for the ever-lasting "Richie Hawtin: boon or bete noir" debate: yawn. Finally, when all someone can say is "fuck this" and "fuck that", then you have to wonder whether they actually have anything useful to observe. Before I forget: crossposting is BAD.
