picked this album up on a whim since id heard it mentioned a few
times on the list, after four or five listens ive become absorbed by
it, all the samples are so bloody fresh! they sound as if theyve been
lifted off lots of bigband and jazz records from the 50's, very lush
warm sound to it all.... quite a change from a lot of stuff ive heard
from the genre.... the only artists im familiar with from ninja tunes
are amon tobin and kid koala, ive neglected to listen too funci porcini
for some reason, caught the tiniest jab at a track on dj foods new
release, not enough to judge if i like it or not...
my main question is what other releases might i look for
with the same "attitude" as permutation, im mostly infatuated with the
context of the sounds and the lack of real shorn crisp sounds(like lp5,
which i adore), sampled vinyl that wouldnt be considered hip hop, im
already planning on picking up bricolage when i see it next

            input would be appreciated _william
