13 discs covers all of krautrock pretty well (assuming you already know
kraftwerk, which i'd imagine would be a fairly safe assumption for the
general membership of this list). helps you decide what to get into then
on, too.

i'm the wrong guy to ask about tangerine dream, perhaps the only other
rather important band that could be lumped in here. the only TDream i ever
liked was about 45 seconds of _force majeure_, so...

(and on a related note, the '94 faust tour of the states still ranks in my
head as the craziest...err, spectacle i've ever seen.)
