Does anyone here have experience with the Elkatwin 61? We just refurbished one, and it is unbelievably wonderful - it's like layering two string machines, then running them through a sweet, sweet phaser - it's my new favorite synth-string sound! We've gotten everything working, but there are two buttons for Glide (one each for the A and B sections) that I can't figure out. While the LED comes on when you press either button, there is no audible effect. Since this is a paraphonic machine using octave dividers, glide in the portamento sense is not possible - except on the monophonic bass, but there is no effect there either. And if it were a portamento function, you would expect a knob for the glide time, and there is none. So what the heck is this Glide business? This machine is really hard to find any info on - I can't find any type of manual online. So I'm hoping an AH bro has some info or experience.
