Hi Flavio, the VRS-23 should not be thought as a reverb in todays words. It is a dual delay line, mono-in and partially stereo-out. In the delay mode one delay is half time of the of the other, the output of the two delay lines is separated to left and right. In the reverb mode the delay times are irregular and the signals of the two delay lines are mixed together and appear on both outputs mono. The real trick of the VRS-23 is the modulation, which is possible in both modes. It is a really extrem smooth chorus/delay thing, with a really astonishing warmth. I love having it on pads. Regarding the parts, yes the BBDs are quite a kind of unobtainium.
