I have to say I am really enjoying the new Plaid. I'm in the 'not for 3's was excellent' camp, so take that as you will. That being said, Restproof is very nicely executed: lots of depth to the music, the styles are all over the place, and the productions values are tops. I was afraid after the first one that Plaid would succumb to the over-indulgent corn factor that sometimes traps Mr. James and Mr. Paradinas. Not so here. Of course they are having fun on the record, but there is also q nice sense of drama on this one. One of the best records I have picked up in quite some time. Certainly makes up for the sub par Ae EP... peace Nate
