The remixes by mouse on mars, cornelius, schneider tm and jim o'rourke are still in frequent rotation on my player. The perfect blend of cheese and electronica... > > Some of the more interesting remixes i've heard lately > > were "rock" bands remixing electronic artists > >The other way round doesn't always work, though - viz the high >visibility factor of the remixers on the Pastels "Illuminati" and what >a boring turkey broth *that* was. Oh don't shoot me. **IMO** I agree. I too was a little disappointed with the Pastels remix package despite the impressive lineup of remixers - mouse on mars, my bloody valentine, to rococo rot, third eye foundation, stereolab, kid loco, cornelius, john mcentire, and jim o'rourke to name a few. There was an exception on this ep though: the Kid Loco remix which was cool in a screamadelica primal scream-kinda way. -->-Lance--- xxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
