I agree. The quality of his music has gone down big time. All his older stuff is great and most of it still sounds fresh. The HAB eps were ok, not nearly as good as i would have hoped...but interesting. the Milkman song is pretty weak. That whole Come to Daddy ep was pretty weak. I mean sure it amusing that he did something like that. But it gets old quick. I prefer the video over the actual song. The only track that I really like is IZ-US a 2 minute track on that CD. That's the only reason I might ever pull that cd out. He went from being one of my favorite artists to someone I am only sort of interested in...just to see if he will snap out of his streak of silly shit and hopefully start doing meaningful music again. There are too many really awesome electronic artists out there now to really even care about Aphex Twin (if he continues to do just ok quality stuff). >From a guy that was all talk in the beginning of his career, about how he could put out a 100 lps a year. You would think he could put out at least one good album a year and all the silly shit he wants to do also. If he is retiring (which I don't think he is).
