G'day folks.... I don't trade music - but aparently a lot of you do... I think I can do something to help out with this good/bad trader stuff. Unless you keep all the emails from the list, it may be difficult to remember who is good and who is bad at trading... So - I'm a web developer, I build Web database systems and I also have a Web server online. In a weekend I could put together a database for you all to keep track of good/bad trades. Something like this (comments welcomed): --------- to use this you have to create a user - which is validated by your email address each trade you do, you include the name, email and description - plus a rating on the trade - you would be allowed to login and make changes to the "trader reports" you make - so if the person finally gets around to sending you something - you can state that in the report. so - once people add themselves as users - and add some trader reports - you would then be able to search on a trader name - and see how they trade - also, you could click on a link to see a list of all the BAD TRADERS - I think this could cut down on bad trading - esp. if you notify the person before the trade that you participate in the Trader Database (some cool name will be created:-). Feedback... Suggestions... BTW - Auction sites do this - I'm working on one these days and it has a system like this. Hasta, Gideon Sonic Wallpaper http://www.sonicwallpaper.com
