There are 2 releases on max. The first one being by brinkman the second
one is by Marcus Schmickler (Pluramon, Wabi Sabi).

The Max series is nothing like the ernst series.

Brinkman's release utilizes hard fast techno beats. Very repetitive
and lulling. However, there is still a groove present. Overall the sound
is a cross between studio 1 and the bangin side of Jeff Mills.
Recommended if you like studio 1 and Mills.

Schmickler's release is supposed to be an acid record with a slant towards
abstraction. What you get is a bundle of complex sounds that is techno
but from a different perspective. It though does maintain rhythmical
elements. Recommended if you like things that are a little out of the
ordinary.

The strom release is different than both the ernst and max releases. It
is much more subdued and has a funky downtempo flavor. That is not to say
it is true downtempo. Perhaps it is techno in a downtempo context?. The
release is somewhat minimal (but no where as minimal as the ernst
releases). Recommended.
