well...all in all i'll say that i thoroughly enjoyed the WMC...starting the thursday before last i consecutively stayed up till 5 am until the next tuesday night....so 6 nights of shows and what not.....needless to say by wednesday i was quite deaf and my ears didnt stop ringing until the next day...my room was just a total mess because i really didnt do much but go to shows and come home and sleep.....all my clothes smell like cigarettes because thats the preferred drug at clubs down here(besides extasy and alcohol). ummm well lemme make a list of people i saw, saw\heard perform, or saw/heard perform live. starting with last the thursday before hand dj Aura(local dj...the king of idm...he is pretty much Autechre's as well as Schematics official DJ) dj 9x dj somatic live edward bobb(needle) dj ltj bukem dj dom angus(dom& roland) dj phunkatech dj ufo dj trace dj optical dj fierce mc ryme tyme(my god i hate mc's, unfortunately almost every d&b set was tainted by them) dj e-sassin dj shortee dj faust dj professor goat LIVE JEGA!!!(yes it was killer) dj rob swift dj q-bert mc tc islam(i was ready and willing to shoot this guy...*one of the most worthless people alive) dj hive LIVE RICHIE DEVINE LIVE JAKE MANDELL ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ yes, both of them were fucking killer as well dj phoenicia(jeswa & takeshi) dj wreck dj peanut butter wolf dj andrea parker LIVE FUNKSTORUNG (nicest fucking guys...best fucking music..what else can i say) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ either this or jake mandell was the best music i heard in all of WMC dj craze ( our hometown boy craze has decided to take up jungle...sounds like it will be a joke right?? well think again...this was "awesome" combine great junle mixing with turntablism... all i can say is it was spectacular....fucked my ears up for 2 days...well it was great until tc islam decided he needed to "represent" then the pain began) dj tech itch dj decoder dj machete dj dieselboy *****the one person i missed out on was ED RUSH, he made a surprise apearance at a show i thought was gonna be wack.....still slapping myself over that one ###anyway...probably forgot a few in there....any questions at all about anythign just ask....i'm not gonna flood the list with reviews of each one so feel free to enquire privately.. deffinitely try and come down next year if you can...something not to miss....especially if your a jungle/d&b fan as well. dj.merck
