No matter how rhetorical you try to be, it's just you.

I've only had the patience to listen to two sentences from you and trust
me, THAT *was* plenty!

Aww, did the mainstream steal your beloved Wu-Tang? Poor you. Bet you
had to clense yourself of those Method Man and Old Dirty Bastard posters
you had pinned up, not to mention taking the stitching out of your Wu
Logo beenie hat. Must've been a real chore. Get your head out of your
arse and wake up! Surely it's better that Reprazent and Wu Tang are
getting airplay than more of the same pop pap or sickly r&b
commercialism we're used to on the radio?

But let's get to the point, which is that the whole world could do
without you and your pathetic attempts at techno-snobbery. I hate to
even attempt to rationalise someone as fucked up as yourself, but let's
give it a try anyway. Firstly, take a look at yourself. IMO, there is at
least something slightly understandable about someone who hates a
band/artist whose music has crossed from the underground into the
mainstream, but *you* aren't looking futher than the mainstream, because
if you were you'd realise that Roni and crew's musical history is deeper
than you've bothered to dig. Brock was right when he said that it's a
bad idea to diss Roni on the basis of the Reprazent stuff. And because
that's exactly what you've done, you can't very well complain about what
you aren't prepared to hear. Plus you'll never get into some of the best
music ever made, but that's your loss.

> but face it kids, it's a big stinky pile of crappy jungle.

In the words of Company Flow. "I don't mind you talking shit, just keep
it in the first person".

> feel free to try to explain how BPB is worth the 4 minutes it takes to sit through
> it.

That's nine minutes and three seconds, you fruit. You've been listening
to the industry standard radio edit, and the explanation as to why it
*is* worth listening to is that it grooves. If you don't feel Brown
Paper Bag then fine, all I'm saying is that you can't judge Roni and
crews music by the same factors that you judge others by. If you hate
one Goldie song, it's quite possible you'll hate them all, but whereas
you might not like their sound on the Reprazent releases, there's plenty
more to choose from. That's the whole point, it's a sound for one and
all - something for everyone, and that's without compromise. You try it.
It isn't an easy balance to get right, and that's why Roni and crew
deserve respect.

If you want to get into the music, there's plenty of ways to do so it.
You can check out my web-site for a starting point. Then again if you
want to pass judgement on the music without hearing any of it, go ahead.
You don't need the music and the music certainly doesn't need you, so
we'll leave it out on that note, shall we.

Graham.

np: some Busta Rhymes/Flipmode thing that samples the Knightrider theme!
