I picked this item up over the weekend and its worth a listen. Issued as part of the Black Hoodz "dime bag" series, this 10" comes in a zip lock bag. Clever, no? Maybe. The Spectre tracks lean towards zombie-death hip-hop grooves and the DJ Spooky side is more of the scaborous, noisy jungle he's been playing with lately. Attentive listeners will notice judicious use of a Plug sample on one of Spooky's tracks. Also, the new releases section on Brainwashed claims another "official" DJ Spooky 12" is coming out in late August. What happened to the "Riddim Warfare" LP? -------------------------------- Rodney Perkins (mailto:xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx) Pentaradial Press http://www.pentaradial.com
