I'll have to add my praise for this release.  The first GG 12" had some really great
melodies on it and the new one has this plus some new sonic excursions from Mr.
Hawkes (?).  Somehow he manages to make his tunes both silly and wistful at the same
time - most of the tunes remind me of a kid's crayon drawings.  My favorite is "Dum
Dar Dee", which is a nice shuffling funk number with that woozy synth patch he
frequently uses.  One of the best releases for the year IMO.
