>I'm looking for reviews on a couple of albums I'm considering getting: > >John Beltran: Earth & Nightfall (R&S) > >This got a few good notices on the list when it came out a few years >ago. Does it hold up today? Do people who own it still listen to it? I'm always listening to it this. Probably my favourite album if thats anything to go by. A lot of the tracks are a lot further away from IDM then "Ten days of Blue" and "The cry" but thats not neccesarily a bad thing. Theres a couple of tracks a bit like those two, a couple of 4/4's, one almost classical piece, an acoustic guitar fueled track and all dripping with emotion. This is a must have in my books. >Nu Era: Beyond Gravity (Reinforced) > >Someone must have this/have heard it. (I think Che mentioned it, maybe.) >Is it worth the outrageous price I'd have to pay for it? I love the Nu >Era track on Freezone 3, but don't particularly like the one on The >Deepest Shade of Techno. Don't know this one but I recommend their "Aerials on Saturn" ep on Ovum recordings. /John
