(idm) EAR and Microstoria

EAR:
Nothing sounds like The Koner Experiment - personally I think "Millenium
Music" is a really nice, _really_ atypical ambient record, but you may
feel otherwise.  All free improv (supposedly).

Microstoria:
Reprovisors is easily the best Microstoria release - to these ears they
usually sound like a soulless version of Oval (sure many will disagree
vehemently).  That said, Reprovisors is about 50% uninspired rehashed
microstoria dreck, and the other half is a strange mixture of the music of
dying machines with random other influences from the "collaborators" that
can be _extremely_ good - just listened to the FX Randomiz "mix" again two
weeks ago and was blown away.
