Free markets ain't that simple. Limited availability causes cute stuff like
overpriced auctions and grey/black markets (CD-R trading/selling, MP3s)
which those producing limited product always seem to bitch or laugh about
("Stop ripping us off! It ain't our fault you can't get one of the 50 copies
we released didn't actually make it to any U.S. distributors"). There would
be *no* controversy if there was actually a supply to meet the demand.
Producers don't have a responsibility to ensure everybody gets a widget but
if they complain about external effects 'caused by them not producing enough
widgets to meet demand, they are daft.

This has been "Capitalism for Dummies." no slag intended :-)
