They did a much better job translating their songs live in 96. Did you think the song from the Batman sdtk - Moaner was good? I thought it was terrible. At first I thought it was some crap they just decided to throw to the label to make a quick buck. After hearing alot of their new songs last night and how mediocre they were I think they were serious about that Moaner tune. The beats were weak, the basslines sucked and the vocals sucked on the new material. > Their focus live seems to be more on the > 4-to-the-floor thing, for the energy I suppose. Oh yeah obviously. It was still pretty weak though. > There is a fair bit of improv in the mixing/track > muting live and as with any improv situation, it can > be hit or miss musically. They pulled it off splendidly in 96, this time around they were pretty blah. > >Long Train (I think that's the name) > Dark Train, perhaps. No it's not that song. It was in Trainspotting but not on the soundtrack...think the heroin withdrawal scene with the baby on the ceiling. It was also on a single. I think it was called Long Train. At least I didn't pay to see them. Can't wait for MEat Beat in a few hours. Cheers _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
