The Gravis Ultrasound used a Crystal Semiconductor DAC for sound output. =
They=E2=80=99re not exactly the best-sounding, but they=E2=80=99re =
certainly widely available in various digital audio products.

I assume you=E2=80=99re referring to the highly-specialized DSP on the =
Ultrasound, and not merely the separate DAC chip.
