you know...that there's a real fine question.

i have to admit, at first i didn't like lp5 @ all; sounded like more
_cichlisuite_ stuff, and cichilisuite to me is the equivalent of
listening to your stoner friends discover two-hand tapping on their
guitars and then sit around practicing it endlessly until you just want
to smash them SMASH THEM CRUSH KILL PLAY GABBA LOUD V/VM I MAKE YOU
EARS-A BLEED WEE LAD...

anyway, i thought lp5 suffered from the same problem as _cichlisquirt_
did at first, too much technicality, not enough of the weird uh,
emotional stuff as say _tri repetae_; after a while i started getting
into it, and it does have some really excellent moments ("arch carrier,"
"under BOAC," whoo) but it also has some total wank ("vose in,"
"acroyear2"). i'm actually revising my statistical Ae enjoyment curve
graph because of it - peaking at _tri repetae_, bottoming out at
_cichlisuite_ and beginning a new rise with _lp5_. i just WISH they
would drop the hyper-speed thing. save them shits for the great kat,
word.

so, does/did anyone have a descriptive review of that bogdan ilyitch
whatsit guy on rephlex? if i missed one, please send it to me off list.
if i didn't, somebody post one so i can know if it's actually worth
dropping 25 bucks on another over-priced rephlex atrocity.

danke,
[gr]
