yeah, speaking of them (still waiting for my copy of clear release), here are some questions ive been meaning to ask re: small american startups... ive gotten a 12" from a label out of cali that has 'audio confusion by OST', their mailing address + their email xxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx on the sleeve, labels obscured by crude marker scribblings and plenty of locked grooves on the record, a photocopied blueprint a la Skam inside the sleeve, and apparently its limited to 500. the music is pretty good, standard idm fare. the person i bought it from said he felt they were going to be the next "little schematic thing" (sic) anyone know who is behind this, and if they venture has any future under the protective wing of the idm-list tastemakers? also, does anyone know what spelunk 01 is? i got the static shield record 02 with solvent tracks on it... more about american labels please... :) jif ------------------------------------------------------------ FS/FT: tons of early rephlex/warp/sabotage and other labels, for sale or trade at http://www.comnet.ca/~se2/.
