sam stein: i recently purchased plastikman - 'consumed'. i liked the cd, but have a question: do plastikman's other cd's, (sheet one, for instance) sound like this? I thought maybe consumed was a downtempo cd much like RDJ made SAWII. No - consumed is a definite departure from type. The other plastikman records are fairly straightahead minimal acid techno workouts. Not screaming acid craziness for the most part but subtle building tracks with funky 909 (or is it 808?) grooves. Really nice stuff which I enjoy a lot - but I prefer the more experimental fully minimalist sound of consumed. Cheers Andrew C.
