i do not like greg eden.
i couldn't have written it any better than nate did above...

i have the right not to like greg eden, i have my reasons, and they are
many.

i bet you like it like that, don't you greg?

i cannot agree any more with nate. i buy a load of warp stuff (everything),
and it almost irks me that somebody (greg) that is the supposed voice of
warp records on the the idm list is a complete ass. i just think that it's
ridiculous for greg to only mention something on this list when somebody has
something to say about warp, that doesn't agree with he thinks... i mean
corrections aside...
i mean, it's a music list, yeah, and after a while people sort of form these
"list personalities" and some people are great, some people are always
grumpy, and some people are always assholes. and, remember, you have the
right to be a ass if you want.

wait, "not allowed to reply"??? nobody every said, "greg, shut the fuck up",
i just find it strange that most of the time (as opposed to everytime) we
get a post from the infamous xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx it's greb going off about
how somebody is wrong about something, and how warp is the record label from
heaven and how warp is so goddamn reasonable. look back at the idm
archives, many of the posts from greg have been just some personal stabs at
people who were merely voicing their opinions about a warp release, or warp
in general.
and if greg is reading this, i still think rubber jonny is amazingly awful.
and so is max tundra. and so is mira calix when she's actually making her
own music...

:)

maybe im wrong, but all the "positive things" above have been on a thing
called the news section of warp-net for months...

To prevent from getting the L code (which normally means you have to change
the clutch unit in the back), you should take off the glass AND platen
cover. Unscrew the railing and ball bearings set that holds the glass and
cover to the copier. Spray it completely with a strong degreaser, then spray
it with WD-40 generously until almost dripping. Then, let it dry a bit and
install it onto the machine again. You will notice that the glass now moves
to the left and right very easily. This prevents the clutch unit from going
out. If you install a new clutch unit due to the L code in the display, this
will prevent the clutch unit from malfunctioning (a gear breaking) again.
Many times when the clutch unit breaks, the tech replaces the clutch unit,
and months later the L will come up in the display. This is because the dry
railing puts too much stress on the clutch system.
