hello everyone,

my apologies to anyone who has to read this more than once (and if you
consider
this off topic).

it is time for me to take another trip somewhere exotic. this time it is=
 for
my honeymoon and the destination of choice will be europe and parts of the
u.k. we hope to cover the following places: paris, brussels, amsterdam,
berlin, prague, milan, rome, and maybe england (london, birmingham,
manchester
and liverpool) we will be travelling for a month (september) and the reason
for this e-mail is two-fold. while away I would like to hook up with some
like
minded people and possibly do some live/dj gigs and do some radio shows. I
have been spinning and making music since 88 and I can provide
demo/promotional
materials to anyone who may need them. musically, my work stays to the
ambient
side of things and I play music that is not unlike the down tempo vibes of
FSOL
or stuff on ninja tune. sometimes my stuff has some drum and bass elements=
 as
well. I love dub and my live set reflects that. for a sample of some=
 recent
works you can check www.mp3.com/figital =20

the second reason I write is to try to get some recommendations from people
who
have visited (or live in ) these places. since it is our honeymoon romance
takes precedence over all. If anyone has stayed in any nice places or has=
 any
good (and cheap!) ideas about how to exist in europe and the uk I would=
 really
appreciate the advice. of course, what I save in food and accommodation=
 will
be spent on records! as well, if anyone knows of any good events going on I
would certainly like to hear about it. ideally, I would like to play at it
but
since you can=92t be on every bill in every country some dancing and good=
 times
would be great. as well, the skinny on the good records shops is a must!

so far our travelling plans are very loose to allow for maximum hookup for
gigs
and fun stuff. since the train is an easy and quick way to travel I don=92t=
 see
much problem jumping around. we only want to cross over to england one time
since the ferry ride is pretty expensive.

so, anyone who lives in any of these places who might want to show a nice
canadian and his new wife what your city has to offer can e-mail me at
x@xxxxxx.xx

thanks kindly!

peace, love and ambience.
