Nubient, Dogstar, Brixton. 6-2.20am (Free) Mixmaster Morris and Plaid (better ring up and check about this one tho, as aren't MMM & Plaid meant to be at the Monastery of Sound party in France then, unless they come back earlier?) Whatever's happened to the Blech nights tho??? we REEEEEEALLY miss them! and with the FatCat label seeming to be going well, is there no chance of us ever seeing the Fat Cat record shop back in action again? that was me fave record shop ever, ok so lots of the other ones down Berwick St can get you the goods but they just aint got the vibe, I just don't get all excited, don't feel that itchy thrill anymore like I used to, runnin down the stairs into the little ravey/techno den that was Fat Cat, where the lads behind the counter would be playing the most blistering stuff, all psyched up & firing, pulling out all kinds of interesting stuff for us to listen to, all these piles mountin up on the counter of lovely,lovely fresh and gleamin vinyl all ready to take off for a listen on the decks at the side ... ohhh it used to feel like Christmas for me in there!
