once was enough for me..

i could go on all day about how awful i thought jega's album was, tom
jenkinson has more talent in his left big toe, etc.. how anyone could
take what was last year's definitive drill'n'bass album (and i mean
that in a negative sense) over any of tj's output, i will never
understand.

jega has got way too much of a good reputation.. for producing one
great ep (years ago..), and one pretty good ep, he certainly crops up
a lot in conversations. thing is, no-one i know remotely likes what
he's doing now. and he had the gall in an interview to complain about
so much music these days being derivative.. ha!

i mean, if you're going to do dark techstep jungle, at least work on
the production.. i don't think grooverider is chomping at the bit to
play jega's tracks, which sound like they've been recorded on a
dictaphone.
