Dark and nice but perhaps somewhat uninspired for the progenitor of 'Isn't Anything' & 'Loveless'. To be honest, my personal opinion is that any stylistic leap forward from the aforementioned records became material that other folk started doing - and started doing well. I wouldn't have liked, nor would like in this climate today, to be in the position Kevin is in... Serious rumours indicated that he'd almost fully recorded a follow up to Loveless a couple of years ago but scrapped it as not being a sufficiently original progression...
