There's a lot of good stuff coming out of Atlanta: Goodie Mob and Outkast
have great albums out, both produced by Organized Noize.  (Isn't there a
Wamdue/K Hand connection between DET and ATL, too?).

I'd love to see Panacea producing for Jeru the Damaja and Wu-Tang, or Luke
Vibert working with Busta Rhymes.  With all the great British producers and
American rappers out there, I wish they'd get together more often...  

Also, Sasha Frere-Jones (from Ui) interviewed Timbaland in the most recent
issue of The Wire; he and/or (?) Simon Reynolds have written about their
love of hip-hop production several times in The Village Voice.
