There's a lot of good stuff coming out of Atlanta: Goodie Mob and Outkast have great albums out, both produced by Organized Noize. (Isn't there a Wamdue/K Hand connection between DET and ATL, too?). I'd love to see Panacea producing for Jeru the Damaja and Wu-Tang, or Luke Vibert working with Busta Rhymes. With all the great British producers and American rappers out there, I wish they'd get together more often... Also, Sasha Frere-Jones (from Ui) interviewed Timbaland in the most recent issue of The Wire; he and/or (?) Simon Reynolds have written about their love of hip-hop production several times in The Village Voice. .John.
