be sure to check out the following if you're into deep grooves: Chaser--Blue Planet (Maas remix) (UK Soma) includes the original piece (deep house tempo, but not with a four on the floor kick) and a uptempoed Maas remix with some jazzy flourishes and vocal samps for more peak hour play; this is out september 27 Chaser--Blue Planet (Abacus and Fila Brazillia remixes (UK Soma) I was lucky to get an advance airing of Austin Bascom's mix earlier this year when he was on the live radio show here in halifax and it's great that this is now finally coming out on vinyl. the abacus mix ups the tempo, adds some rhythmic punch almost with an electro feel (though keeping it nice and deep with some added guitar and the like). the fila brazillia remix is the same tempo as the original, but takes it in more of a housey angle and yet manages to deepen it even more. a great package. out october 11.
