hmm... just read michael fakesch's dis-owning of this particular mask release... i really like it personally... my vote for the hell interface has to be the first track on side b...beginning with children laughing...listen to the sounds...textbook BOC... in addition to the killer cover/remix of 'midas touch' there's the hilarious and yet mesmerising dissection of duran duran's 'save a prayer' plus some pretty cool robotic vocoder action towards the end. and some silly backwards shit. :) also - plaid's LP: while one of the tracks towards the beginning sounds *way* too much like something from, say, windham hill circa '89, the rest of the album is very much to my liking. being a plaid fan and all...as for autechre, 1)its an ep for christ's sake, regardless of how long it is and 2) its pretty damn good, imo. if you don't feel it, you don't feel it. what can you do? recently found a wayward copy of roupe's 'entelechy' lp....i'd never heard it before and was fantastically surprised...what, beside their 12 on dot, is out there? mikebee ::xxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx ::21st Century Soul
