It's strange -- because over the past few years I've always preffered
to slap Snivilisation or In Sides into my CD player. But prior to the
gig (and after it), in need of a bit of a warm-up, I found myself much
preferring Green and Brown.

And whilst the Brixton gig was consistently top quality, I did I
wasn't as energetic during the old tracks and preferred the new ones.
The old tracks were just a bit too comfortable. Anyway, the reason I
found the new stuff impressive was because they seemed to be going
back to their roots -- the tracks had a bit more meat on the bone.

Whilst I still think Snivilisation and In Sides are great albums, in
retrospect the former is perhaps a bit too diverse whilst the latter
occasionally sacrifices an in-yer-face approach for melody (which I
preffered the time, but now I'm not so sure -- probably because since
then the likes of Bola and BOC have come along to do different things
with melody).

So, Middle of Nowhere looks like its going to have more punch and kick
to it -- the In Sides melodies are still there, but they're a lot more
subtle and not as intrusive.
