(idm) Elecktroids revisited/Drexciya

Just been listening to Electro-World by Elecktroids, that Kraftwerk
piss-take album on Warp. I wasn't around on this list at the time of
it's release, and I can't check the archives to find out what was said,
but I was just wondering whether there was any discussion at the time
about it and who might have been responsible for it. All the signs would
point to Drexciya or UR or Aux 88 or those lot with those mysterious
faceless techno-bods on the cover, the American voices on the track and
the 'thanks to God' on the back cover. Who else would bother to do a
whole albums worth of this stuff?! It's bad really, although not half as
good as what it's pastiching.

Also heard Drexciya 4 - Unknown Aquazone in my local record shop earlier
this week. The best thing I've heard in quite a while (3 on Rephlex was
good, but not this good), so I'm tempted to go back and get it next
week. It's expense on import but sounds like it's worth it. Did any of
the tracks on this end up on the 'Quest' compilation? I know the CD had
lots of tracks on it, while the vinyl was slimmed down (all the
exclusive stuff, maybe?).
