If you can get an original Alesis 9VAC 830mA adaptor on eBay, then go =
for it. It seems likely that it=E2=80=99s what the seller claims it to =
be, unless someone is bothering to take photos of a very specific power =
supply just to rip people off. Your best bet is to use original =
equipment, and that=E2=80=99s what this appears to be. I can=E2=80=99t =
imagine anyone on eBay making a killing with fake listings for one =
obscure power supply.

If you=E2=80=99re really strapped for cash, you can buy a Triad =
Magnetics 9VAC 1200mA adaptor with screw terminal outputs, then grab =
some zip cord and a 3mm TS plug to connect to it. Only $17.86 plus =
shipping.

If that link doesn=E2=80=99t work, just search Mouser.com for =
WAU090-1200-SG

The WAU090-1200 is the same thing with a barrel connector attached, but =
you=E2=80=99d have to cut that off. It=E2=80=99s a dollar cheaper, =
roughly.

I=E2=80=99ve have the 16VAC and a couple of 12VAC variations of the =
Triad Magnetics products for use with my own custom electronics designs, =
and they work as advertised.

The connector in the drum machine has a 2.5mm pin that fits into the =
barrel plug.

but if it can=E2=80=99t handle the current draw of an HR16 then you=E2=80=99=
ll have troubles. It=E2=80=99s fine to be overrated, although that will =
probably cost more, but you can=E2=80=99t go below.

87 RMS) meter.
