This ain't strictly on topic for 313 or idm but I do recommend you check out my friend Tack Fu's new CD. Produced with local talent from Iowa City (where?) it carves out it's own space between hip hop and illbient, with a combination of deep thrift store samples, turntablism and able rappers that have vocabularies and imaginations larger than their bank accounts and egos. But if ever there was a self produced project that deserves to be heard, this is it. I am going to work with Tack to get some real audio up for your listening pleasure.
