on the "summer dsp" release: sorry for the double reply here.. but this is off of the s://kimo mail order: SUMMER DSP: 10" (TOM ?). available early nov: $11.50 "The first vinyl release on the Tom label, the eponymous imprint of German engineer and producer Tom Steinle. A soft, calming ebb of floating-point oceans and digital sealife. The record's delicacy and emphasis on emergent forms might first recall Oval, but the sonorities make it closer to Markus Popp's work with Mouse on Mars' Jan St. Werner as Microstoria. This is also the same company that brought you the standout release "Visor" and will appeal to those of you who like minimalist atmospheres like the releases on karaoke kalk (which they are loosely affiliated with) so, the release is "summer dsp" -- and then is the artist tom steinle? or is he just the person sho runs the tom label? whatever.. its good stuff.. chris.
